I saw one of my old bosses from BYU and she gave me the email address to a guy I used to work with who I haven't seen in a while. So I dropped him an email. Here's how it went:
ME: Hey! This is Melissa from our old job at the business school. I heard you were still in the area so I thought we should hang out sometime. Give me a call or shoot me an email.
HIM: Who is this? Did you get married?
ME: Um, no. I was dating someone but uh, we broke up.
HIM: Oh, yeah, red hair and freckles?
Yes, that's exactly who I am.
